"Combining community spirit, environmental action, and a little friendly competition at Greening Taupō Day 2026."

At FourB, we're passionate about more than just getting people out on bikes. We're proud to be part of the Taupō community, which is why we were excited to support Greening Taupō Day for the second year in a row.

Greening Taupō Day is a fantastic community event that brings together local businesses, organisations, schools, and volunteers with a shared goal of helping restore and protect our local environment. It's always inspiring to see so many people come together, rain or shine, to make a positive difference.

This year, FourB wanted to contribute in a way that was both fun and engaging, especially for the younger volunteers who were out planting trees and getting their hands dirty.

Get Pumped!

To help keep the kids moving (and warm on a chilly winter's day), we brought along a fun challenge called "Get Pumped!"

The challenge was simple: who could inflate a bike tyre the fastest?

Armed with a bike pump and plenty of enthusiasm, the kids lined up to test their speed and technique. What started as a simple activity quickly turned into a friendly competition, with plenty of laughs, encouragement, and a few surprisingly competitive participants!

Not only did it keep everyone warm between planting sessions, but it also gave the kids a chance to learn a practical cycling skill while having fun.

Giving Back to the Community

As a business that operates in the heart of Taupō's outdoor environment, we understand the importance of protecting the places where we ride, explore, and adventure. Supporting events like Greening Taupō Day is one small way we can give back to the community and environment that supports us.

We're grateful to the organisers, volunteers, and everyone who participated in making the day such a success. It was great to see so many people contributing to a greener future for Taupō.
