At FourB we only hire Shotgun pro seats which attach to the bike so your 2 to 4 year old can sit on the shotgun seat in front of you. They must be able to sit up and support themselves. They have a weight limit of 22kg.

Bikes hired at FourB come with a helmet at no extra cost.

FourB is located at 413 Huka Falls Road, just a 5-minute drive from Taupō township. Situated in the heart of Taupō's mountain biking network, you can ride directly from our doorstep onto the Huka River Trail Loop or into the Craters Mountain Bike Park without needing to drive anywhere.

Trails next to FourB start at grade 2 and these would be suitable for confident riders of bikes. Previous Mountain bike experience for the grade 2 trails is not required. You can find more information on the Bike Taupo Website

FourB has over 35 electric mountain bikes, both full suspension and hard tail options are available to hire

Yes, FourB has a fleet of road bikes. These get hired out a long time in advance for events so booking early is highly recommended.

FourB only allows bikes to be transported on specific bike carriers designed for the bike being transported. We do not allow E bikes on the prong racks and no bikes can be transported inside vehicles as this can cause damage to the bikes and is a safety hazard in an accident.

Yes  you can hire a bike for multiple days and the multi hire day rate is cheaper if you hire for 3 or more days. Suitable safe storage and transport is a prerequisite to this.

Yes FourB can service your bike. As we get very busy during the summer season with hire and tours it is important to contact FourB if you need a service, In the off season you can just bring it in.

FourB has some parking at the back of the shop but there is parking on the road directly opposite and a large number of parks in the Craters Mountain bike parking and the entrance is also opposite the shop.
